What Dog Breed Are You?

At first, I was a little suprised to see my results, until I read the description. I guess I can see it.

Chihuahua: The Socialalite
Your single most amazing trait, dah-ling, is that you are charming and gregarious and gorgeous and lively. Oops! That was more than one. No worries, dear, it wouldn't be the first time the rules have been bent for you! Your charisma, combined with the fact that you can really dish out a good yap when push comes to shove, means you have no problem putting on the dog in order to get what you want. But it's not all about you! N-n-n-n-no-ooo! You simply adore your best friend and love your family to pieces, enjoying every precious little teeny tiny moment you spend together. And children? Well, you love the idea of them, but don’t necessarily need them hounding you day and night, right? Come now, honey, let's face it- children just do not appreciate a good sweater.

Dedicated to Maxwell

One of my blogging buddies, Agent317x, has been having a little trouble with his beloved Mini Cooper, Maxwell. He's blaming it on the one time he took Maxwell through an automatic car wash, although deep down he realizes that's just plain silly. (BTW - gotta give two thumbs up to the Goo Goo cash wash near my house . . . the best 3-minute, $9 car wash ever!)

Anywho, Maxwell's windows have been causing Agent317x a little trouble. I found some nifty advice that might help him out in a pinch.

Paper Sunglasses -- Not Cool!

I walked into my eye appointment a woman in her mid (er . . late) 30s.

But I walked out looking like a 65 year old woman.

I hadn't had my eyes checked in two years, and I needed new contacts, so I endured all the eye tests they threw at me, including the burning eye drops that dilate you. And of course, it was a sunny day and I didn't have any sunglasses with me. I considered playing it cool and squinting all the way home, but eventually decided to suck it up and choose safety over fashion. My mom would be proud. In fact, she might even like these shades.

Super Bowl XLII

The results of last night's game may very well go down as the greatest upset in Super Bowl history. In the last 35 seconds of the game, 27-year-old quarterback, Eli Manning, led the New York Giants to a stunning 17-14 win over the New England Patriots, snubbing New England's bid for a perfect 19-0 season.

Okay, so I cut and pasted that . . I'll admit it. I didn't really care about the game. Although I did watch the last few minutes of it, (which was the best part anyway), I spent the majority of the night hanging out with our amazing friends at our fourth annual Super Bowl party.

Every year, it seems to get bigger and better, and I'm stoked that we had friends from childhood, work, the neighborhood and beyond all come over and hang out. Thank you so much! You all totally made the party. And for our friends who were unable to attend this year, we missed you!

Check out the pictures, and I hope we'll see you all again next year.
