I walked into my eye appointment a woman in her mid (er . . late) 30s.
But I walked out looking like a 65 year old woman.
I hadn't had my eyes checked in two years, and I needed new contacts, so I endured all the eye tests they threw at me, including the burning eye drops that dilate you. And of course, it was a sunny day and I didn't have any sunglasses with me. I considered playing it cool and squinting all the way home, but eventually decided to suck it up and choose safety over fashion. My mom would be proud. In fact, she might even like these shades.
